Thank you for choosing Rent‑A‑Dye. We aim to provide fast, reliable dye table rentals for events throughout Rochester, NY. This Refund Policy explains when refunds, credits, or rescheduling options may apply.
1. General Policy
All bookings are final once confirmed. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of your cancellation and the condition of the Equipment at pickup.
2. Cancellation Policy (24‑Hour Rule)
Cancellations 24 Hours or More Before Rental

Eligible for a full refund or full credit toward a future rental.

Credits do not expire.
Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Rental

Not eligible for a refund.

At the Company’s discretion, you may receive a partial credit depending on scheduling and availability.
3. Weather‑Related Cancellations
We understand that outdoor events depend on weather.

If severe weather is forecasted (heavy rain, storms, unsafe conditions), you may request:

Free rescheduling, or

Full credit toward a future rental

Refunds for weather‑related cancellations are issued at the Company’s discretion.
We do not issue refunds for mild or moderate weather conditions.
4. Delivery Issues
If Rent‑A‑Dye Cannot Deliver
If we are unable to deliver due to an issue on our end (vehicle breakdown, emergency, etc.), you will receive:

A full refund, or
-
A full credit plus a 10% discount on your next rental
If Customer Is Not Present at Delivery
If no one is available at the scheduled delivery time:

No refund will be issued

A redelivery fee may apply if rescheduling is possible
5. Equipment Condition & Early Pickup
If Equipment Is Returned Early

No partial refunds are issued for early returns or unused rental time.
If Equipment Cannot Be Used Due to Customer Error
Examples include:

No safe space to set up

Restricted property access

Customer‑caused damage at delivery
No refund will be issued.
6. Damage, Loss, or Cleaning Fees
Refunds are not provided for:

Damage caused during the rental

Lost or stolen Equipment

Excessive cleaning required after pickup
Any additional fees will be invoiced separately.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 3–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Credits are applied to your Rent‑A‑Dye account immediately.
